Speakers are very solid and it comes with a cable to plug in your phone. Iphone users will need the "dongle" to make the iPhone operable for the connection. It has a fan....not a big help so they could do without. The LCD screen is bright and provides excellent feedback. The heartmonitor is either a bluetooth compatible device (the user guide tells you what you need exactly), or you can hold the handles and get a manual readout.
UPDATE: Okay, I've been using the 830 for the past two weeks and I must say I'm impressed. First, I'm a former runner, having run one marathon and 14 half marathons, and a dozen's of 5k's under my belt. Now that I'm 60, the ole knees can't take the pounding, but I miss the run. So I've been on this treadmill for the past two weeks. Sturdy, no problem. The speeds are
There are two cupholders and they are plenty spacious. Held my big Yeti with no problem. It has a ledge for your iPad if you want to watch a video while walking or jogging. The folding mechanism is solid and while the unit is big, there is one slight issue I found. Not a big deal, but it impacts placement of the unit. The electric cord fits in on the front of the unit. Now what that means is if, as in our workout room, the mirrors are in front of you, you have to snake the cord behind the unit to get to an outlet. Well, the cord isn't that long so you need a short, sturdy extension cord to reach where you might want to plug it in.
I'll try to remember to circle back for updates, but for not, I'll give it a 5-star rating.
Even if it worked properly I want to point out somethings. When customizing programs the speed increments only can be in .5 increments. That along with the request that min speed and max speed is required when starting a program makes it convoluted when trying to create a program.
Also, ALL programs(default and custom) can only be broken up into 16 segments, check the pic. An example is when you have a 16-minute workout the size of each segment would be a minute. The smallest increment for a speed or incline change is 1 minute. Ok but let's say you have a 32-minute workout, then the smallest increment is now 2 minutes. That is a little frustrating because I want to have just a minute or 30 seconds of increased incline or increased speed. The time or distance can only be divided in 16teenths.
And now it freezes after any workout. It stops completely right after a workout like the safety pin is pulled out. Not only no cooldown but the buttons are not responsive. I mean completely freezes! And I can only turn it off and back on to be able to do anything. I am waiting on parts and service... not fun in the least. Yes, it's under warranty but this is ridiculous.

The speakers are louder than some others in this price range, which is nice. No Bluetooth, but it has a USB charger and a large tablet holder area. The 2017 model has Bluetooth.
The fan is weak for me, but I'm also not close to it..
I took advantage of free installation; it didn't seem super difficult. Treadmill box was heavy but I was able to move it myself after delivery to another room.
I am 6'4 and 252 pounds. I don't notice any problems with the power of the motor for my weight except maybe under 3mph. The chp rating is a little higher than similar-priced models. I would have loved to have a longer deck, but you don't get them in this price range. You do quickly learn to adapt your stride to fit the treadmill.
Since I have only had it a week, I will update later if anything changes, but I'm very pleased with it so far.
Sure, the motor warranty is 10 years vs. lifetime, but if you get anywhere near 10 years use out of it, it has more than paid for itself.
The LCD screen is very easy to read. I do wish it was a little larger.
The tablet holder works well.
Since I have only had it a week, I will update this review later if anything changes.
