Love it so far

Love it so far
This is my second treadmill I have owned. I have used them along with elliptical machines in gyms for years. I searched for 1 to replace a treadmill that was given to me and was about to finish its lifespan. Previous treadmill was a simple $300 no frills treadmill. It served its purpose but was basic basic.I researched long and hard before buying. Kept reading reviews online about how you should purchase higher end treadmills which were all around $1600 and up. But after a lot of thought and research i decided on the Schwinn. I liked the 2.75hp motor. Not quite a 3.0hp, but close. And way better than othner 2 or 2.5hp treadmills in this price range. Had free setup by Amazon which was flawless. The treadmill is perfect for me. I'm not an everyday runner but have ran both half and full marathons has recent as the SF Full in 2017. It goes 12mph which I have no desire to max out. That's a 5 minute mile and not for me anyway. I run around the 7 to 8 minute mile pace. The inline goes to 12 degrees which if you haven't used an incline before is great. You can put a good incline and a fast walking pace and get a great sweat going. If you run, it gets intense quick. The running surface is great and much more give than my past treadmill. As I get older my joints will appreciate it.The programs are more than enough for me. I usually do my programs manually but there are a whole loit of settings depending on what you like. The HR handles seem fairly accurate to me and nice. I haven't used any Bluetooth as of yet. The speakers if turned up will get distorted quick. But they are nice for someone who doesn't have headphones or other speakers nearby. The display is easy to read and you can program profiles into it. The fan isn't too powerful but it's nice to have. Blows toward the chest depending on height.Plenty of space for phones, remotes, towels, drinks,All I all, I paid $599 with free set up and I'm super satisfied with this unit. 4 out of 5 stars due to unknown longevity. Weak speakers too but I'm not personally concerned with that as I have nice speakers in my home gym already. Others may not though.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wish I researched a little more...
Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2017
I wish I never purchased this August 28th, 2017. It is now Nov 17th and the product is not working properly.

Even if it worked properly I want to point out somethings. When customizing programs the speed increments only can be in .5 increments. That along with the request that min speed and max speed is required when starting a program makes it convoluted when trying to create a program.

Also, ALL programs(default and custom) can only be broken up into 16 segments, check the pic. An example is when you have a 16-minute workout the size of each segment would be a minute. The smallest increment for a speed or incline change is 1 minute. Ok but let's say you have a 32-minute workout, then the smallest increment is now 2 minutes. That is a little frustrating because I want to have just a minute or 30 seconds of increased incline or increased speed. The time or distance can only be divided in 16teenths.

And now it freezes after any workout. It stops completely right after a workout like the safety pin is pulled out. Not only no cooldown but the buttons are not responsive. I mean completely freezes! And I can only turn it off and back on to be able to do anything. I am waiting on parts and service... not fun in the least. Yes, it's under warranty but this is ridiculous.
